The Berlin imprint BITE run by Ostgut Ton artist and Berghain resident Phase Fatale aka Hayden Payne and Florian Engerling.

The label reveals the debut album of Berlin-via-Toronto Iranian artist SARIN for the 10th release of the catalogue which is scheduled for November 15th on 12” LP, CD and digital formats. The album will be followed by a remix EP in January featuring reworks by Broken English Club, Privacy, Teste, and label co-owner Phase Fatale. Meanwhile, Sonic Groove’s label boss Adam X is next up with a 12” due to September 6th marking his first record on another label since 2013. Into the next year, the label has planned an extensive release schedule including Ron Morelli, Reka and Silent Servant.

SARIN is the A/V industrial/EBM/techno project of Emad Dabiri. Following his first 12″ ‘Kuleshov Effect’ in 2018 and his split EP with Imperial Black Unit earlier this year, he is now presenting his debut full-length. ‘Moral Cleansing‘ is the result of Dabiri’s obsessive channelling of historical/geopolitical events, referencing past horrors & conflicts while also hinting at those that may come. He pulls samples, themes, and inspirations from forgotten atrocities and some that even resonate personally with his childhood growing up in wartime Iran.
